Vivienne Westwood Palladium Party

So London Fashion Week has finally been wrapped up and most of the Fashion elite are now in Milan for the next round of shows for the following season.
However, London, it seems has had a good start, praised for its fun factor, and who better to kick off the celebrations last Friday than Dame Vivienne Westwood.

Westwood held a party at The Wallace Collection, to preview her collaboration with the new precious metal Palladium. The 'Get A Life' collection was "Nature and pagan inspired" said Vivienne, who is very passionate about preserving and recycling, "Jewellery has nothing to do with Get a Life. Get a Life is about how we stop climate change and therefore preserve life for the next generation while at that same time get a better life. My focus at the moment is what one person can do. Stop climate change. Save the planet. The acorn is symbolic of the rainforest, its importance and how it is our first duty to save it."

Olivia Palermo was one of the first to arrive (Is there a LFW party that girl hasn't been to) followed by a host of other guests that included,  Jo Wood, Lily Cole, Mr.Hudson, Plan B, chef Gizzi Erskine, several of the stunning Burberry models, and strangely Diana Vickers who looked like she had had a few too many! After walking round the regal surroundings (one of Vivienne's favourite galleries) and viewing the jewellery collection, guests were treated to an amazing live performance by Brit Winner and girl of the moment Jessie J (Have to big up my fellow Essex girls). Jessie did beautiful acoustic versions of her hits Price Tag and Do It Like A Dude.

Fab Start to Fashion Week, and Jessie J sums up perfectly what is great about London (&Essex)

The Encased Jewellery Collection
